Loved this diner! Went back for seconds before we flew home. Very clean and friendly environment. Wonderful staff, excellent service and delicious food.

Just got back from dinner at Mel 's Diner, Cape Coral. The whole experience was a pleasure. Fab burgers cooked rare as ordered, great service and nice atmosphere. We had a great experiance two weeks ago at Mel's Fort Myers (super salmon) but the Cape Coral location was even better. Great new restaurant which 'hits the spot', thanks Mel's!

Most of the days we were in Florida were busy ones. It was always nice to find a restaurant with a lot of choices, something for everyone in our group. The staff was friendly and the food was good.

Good choice of breakfast with sides in as many different choices as you can imagine. This set us up for the day and look forward to returning. Apart from I hop,Denny's was almost in available in this area seems like they have downsized. But would put mels at no 1 well worth a visit

canned veggies with no choices,slow service not enough servers on staff.constantly waiting on next course no bread offered.

Food was very yummie, and very well priced!! The only change I would make...have more servers working. They were very busy and we only saw our waitress 1-2 times. Other than that, great food and relaxing atmosphere. Will go again!!

I usually forget that Mel's Diner is just minutes away from my house until a visitor with us from the North asks about diners in the area. Just went there last night, and was delighted with the freshness of my pecan crusted fish!! Just as good as any seafood restaurant!! And much more reasonably priced!!
