We tried this place after hearing about it. It's nice and cozy, only 4 tables.we sat by the window. It's run by a husband and wife, she does the cooking, she's Peruvian. The food was spectacular. I looked up on wikipedia ahead of time to get ideas on authentic Peruvian food, and this place delivered.we even stayed for dessert.

We have been here several times even though we live a hundred miles away. The food is always delicious and the service friendly. It is owned and operated by a very nice couple that give it a homey atmosphere.

We thought the food was excellent. We have never been to Peru (or had Peruvian food before), so cannot comment on the authenticity. However, everything taht we ordered was delicious. We liked the atmosphere. It was quaint, friendly, and felt like we were in someone's home, eating their favorite foods. The problem that we had was that the waiter, who... More

My husband and I returned for another meal and it was absolutely delicious. Last time, Juliana's husband was sick but tonight we were able to meet him. He was very pleasant and welcoming. We enjoyed our dinner. I had the lomo saltado and my husband had steak along with sweet plantains (maduros) as a starter. The pisco sours were just... More

I have been to this restaurant twice - even if I have a bad experience the first time, I try to give a restaurant a second chance. I have been to Peru a half-dozen times. This food is highly mediocre Peruvian food. If you have never had Peruvian food before, perhaps it would be OK for you - because you... More

My husband and I were in the mood for a home cooked meal but not in the mood to cook at home. I read about this restaurant online and was waiting for the right "occasion" to eat there. We drove down from NJ and while it is difficult to find, it's worth the effort. (It is right behind the Volvo... More

Wilmington is a city with limited decent ethic food choices besides Italian fare, so we were excited when Juliana's opened and Peruvian food came to town. The kitchen is in the same location as the Dumpling House, and the interior has been preserved. It is a comfortable dining area where everyone is greeted warmly by the owner. Unfortunately, the food... More

While the food is good and likely authentic, the service is so slow and mediocre that it is a deterrent to visit there again. For my son's 10th birthday he chose Juliana's Kitchen. The service was agonizingly slow and unresponsive when we asked for attention. Even after telling them it was our son's birthday, the service remained innattentive and lacking.... More

I was excited to try something different in Wilmington as I've never had Peruvian food before. The place is very cute and the owner who greeted us was super nice and also doubled as our waiter. We order an avocado appetizer to start. The avocado was perfectly ripe and we enjoyed the creativity of the appetizer however a bit pricy... More
