Cool, funky, atmosphere! Staff very friendly and accommodating! We are a group of 8 who have dined here for 11 years straight and have been catered to every year!
Tried this little boutique restaurant and found the food to be excellent with good prices. Not one of those places that try to overload you with so-so food, but gives you a sane sized portion of delectable, fresh and interesting food. Will definitely go there again! The location is sort of hidden and the furnishings are homey with great art... More
We’ve been coming to Rehoboth for years, and Back Porch Café is still the most reliably delicious fine dining establishment in town. Over the years, we’ve had one incident of poor service, and a couple of courses that weren’t the best. But compared to so many other places, where the disappointments are inevitable after one good meal, this is the... More
We had a group of seven for dinner. We were promptly seated and quickly served. The restaurant was busy and full, yet there was a calm and efficiency that was appreciated. The loin of tuna was very unique and delicious for an appetizer. The spiced salmon was delicious and cooked perfectly. Four of my friends had the tenderloin - prepared... More
Consistently one of the best meals I have when dining out. Food, service, ambiance - perfect. Don't miss the coffee flambe!
Our experience here was not great. Bland bread. Not so great lobster salad appetizer. Tasteless grilled pork dish with a nasty tasting sauce that covered half the plate. Our server never even asked how the meal was. The salmon was pretty good. Would not return. So many better places in Rehoboth.
It is extremely hard to improve on an outstanding review, but these folks have done. After twenty years of dining at the Back Porch Cafe, they outdid themselves with a delicate menu, exceptional flavors and great service. The sautéed sweetbreads should not be missed! Solid wine list. Congratulations on excellence year after year.
Nice atmosphere and an ambitious menu. Otherwise, it was disappointing. The waiter needs training on how to serve wine. Nothing was awful, just not well prepared. My salmon was over cooked and served on cold something - not as described. Across the group, we had beet salad, frois gras, beef carpacio, duck entre, rockfish entre, the steak, and my salmon.... Some of the reviews weren't too positive but we were happy with our experience at Back Porch. We made a reservation in person (or you can call) for dinner. We went on a Monday night when glasses of wine are half price. Our food included crab ravioli, diver scallop (outstanding appetizer), beet salad, lobster salad, beef tenderloin and pork tenderloin.... More
