A week before Mother's Day called to request reservation for party of 6. Was advised they didn't take reservations. We would be accomodated upon arrival at 6PM. The dining room was not full, and it was suggested two tables could be put together outside the dining room, near the entrance...I asked how long the wait would be - 1-hour. At... More

I took my mom here a few weeks ago for a birthday brunch and I absolutely adored it! The buffet was varied and imaginative (I am still dreaming about a few of the items)- much more creative than most buffets, and the price was very, very reasonable. The service was also top notch. I can't wait to go back!

All-you-can-eat Sunday brunch was an excellent value; breakfast dishes were good, lunch dishes were great, and dessert dishes were above average; buffet dishes were neatly arranged and easily accessible without crowded bottlenecks; limited seating and out-of-the-way location near the Westport/Norwalk border gives the restaurant an insider's feel; owner was active and attentive to patrons' needs - her Italian accent only... Via Sforza Trattoria looks impressive from the outside, and the decor inside is just as gorgeous. Everything conveys a very authentic Italian feeling, I thought I was seated somewhere in Tuscany! The service was stellar, with several friendly waiters always ready to pour more water or clear a plate. We received a basket right away, generously filled with fresh baked,... More

We celebrated a friends birthday last night with dinner from Via Sforza Trattoria. There were 10 of us! Every meal was delicious and served hot! The salads perfect! We had quite a variety from the pollo gergio to veal giusuppe and of course all the parmigianas! You can't beat stopping by for dinner there. It is my son in-laws absolute... More

Very cosy place nicely decorated, good menu choices, tastes good. Good wine list. Found service a little slow at times but very good otherwise.

We loved every morsel, from the crusty bread, to the creative salads to the outstanding hearty Italian dishes. the Brussels sprouts in the mixed grilled veggies didn't love us back, however! Haha! Service was warm and friendly in this family owned and operated Restaurant. Setting could not have been lovelier -- you feel like you are dining in a Tuscan... More

Restaurant used to be down the road in Norwalk. They moved to an attractive new standalone building and unfortunately the food quality took a nose dive. I ordered a veal chop- how can you screw up a veal chop? They did. It was expensive but it was not cooked or seasoned and now I will no longer patronize Via Sforza.... More

I was there this weekend with my inlaws, who came here from Italy and they were impressed! The food was absolutely incredible and we compared it to back home in Italy where we are from. The owners, come to find out, are off the boat as well and brought with them, their talent and vision of a phenomenal Italian restaurant... More

If you're looking for a good restaurant in the Westport area, this is one of my family's "go to" restaurants. Always a good meal ... highly recommend the gorgonzola salad.
