Love to go to Bertuccis for a family celebration. Food is usually delicious and the warm bread and oil that starts the meal is hot from the oven. We usually order a few differnet plates and pass around family style. Too many good choices of entrees to only try one.

The service was excellent, the food was okay. The chicken Caesar salad had moist tasty chicken but the dressing tasted bottled. The kids had a small pizza which they did it like and the mozzarella cheese focaccia which they did enjoy.

When you enter the restaurant you will see the famous ovens, they are wood fired and operate at very high temerature cooking the pizza quickly and producing an excellant crust. This place was nothing special. It was just Ok. I have had the same pizza at an airport. It's your typical chain pizza restaurant. If you have to go chain pizza you are better if with California Pizza kitchen. Look elsewhere if you want good pizza in Shelton. I'd recommend something but it's the only pizza I've had in Connecticut.

I always look forward to a meal at Bertucci's. From the rolls (and you MUST eat those rolls) to the dinner and the dessert they are all winners. The service is always good and the food fresh.
