Located off the main drag in Ridgefield, we would never have found Sagi's if not for our son who treated us to lunch. I was most ipressed with the house merlot (181) which was delicious and complimented a fine meal of excellent salads and pastas.

I was looking for a restaurant to meet two other couples that would be halfway between the two furthest individuals. I looked at various maps, calculated a mid-point and decide to make reservations at Sagi. Since none of us have ever been to this restaurant, I was a bit nervous how the others would care for this place. My spouse... More

Tends to have heavier food because its classic. Good taste. Sometimes the service is slow. If you can't park, go across the street.

nice decor, but not so fancy you can't relax. service was attentive. I had the calamari to start- nice big fresh chuncks so you can actually taste the squid, not overly breaded or dark brown from over cooking. Side Cesear salad was ordinary but fresh. The real treat was the fettucini with mushrooms. Properly cooked pasta (still a bit al... More

We picked this place for dinner based on their higher than average ratings on several web sites. Although it is a small placed tucked away we were pleasantly surprised. Staff was very accommodating, especially with our child. Menu was not overwhelming and I liked the family- owner/ non-chain restaurant feel. The only thing I could knock them on is the... More

Stopped in on a Saturday night. Active bar crowd created a somewhat noisy but festive atmosphere. Seated relatively quickly, but uncomfortable booth seats need some work. I felt that the table came up to my shoulders because the cushion in the booth had collapsed. He started with mushroom ravioli appetizer- very good with tasty sauce. I had the arugula and... More

What a bummer that Ridgefield seems to fit like a hand in a glove, or visa versa, with such an unremarkable restaurant. The food is run-of-the-mill, they serve their calamari in a vase, which doesn't make it into anything except fried squid, but does seem to be right in line with the level ofpretention one might find in Ridgefield, CT.... My first experience with Sagi was at the Taste of Ridgefield. They had a pasta dish that caused me to return to their table about 5 times! Soon after we went to their restaurant and I asked for the same pasta from the Taste of Ridgefield but it turned out that this was not on the menu and they didn’t... More

For those who enjoy homemade italian food served with a smile, this is the place. For lunch they serve half portions for some dishes, which may be enough with an appetizer. You are better off, however, to order a full portion and take the remaining home, if there is anything left on you plate. The fried calamari is fresh and... More
