Here's the thing; the place is very nice, the food is very good, and the service is acceptable. The problem is that Polpo has a reputation as a must-visit, top-notch restaurant...for which they charge top-notch prices. You'll leave the restaurant having had a good meal. It's just not "Michelin Star" quality, and the prices are just over the top.

Really warm homey environment and very good food. Veal and seafood both great. Good drinks and wine list. Like most greenwich restaurants, there are a lot of locals, but that's because its good!

The staff made us wait over an hour for our table with a reservation because we weren't regulars. The tables are on top of each other and the food vary very over priced and lousy!!!!
