This isn't going to be a scathing review, but I won't be back. A couple of good things: Dark and romantic atmosphere. The food is pretty good. What I didn't like: Bottle of wine $40-$850 Glass of wine $12-$22 We enjoyed our meals with 2 glasses of wine each, then paid the bill- $190... Just took all the fun out... More

My family has enjoyed La Marmotte numerous times over the years and this visit was no exception. The price fix menu was very reasonable for the food selection and the food was delicious as ever, from the beef, chicken and seafood. The service was excellent, as the wait staff were warm and attentive. A Telluride must if you want an... More

Went with my wife for an anniversary dinner, it was excellent! They had a pre fixe three course menu for $39. In addition, they also had oysters on the half shell for $1 each, great deal!!! We shared a half dozen, they were fresh and delicious. My wife then had the quail first course, followed by duck. She loved both.... More

Telluride has a lot of excellent restaurants from Hongas (now on the main drag) to The Sheridan and Cosmo, but our favorite is again and again La Marmotte. It's a smaller more intimate restaurant that does have a more limited menu than more boisterous or brash locales, but their prix fixe menu takes the cake for culinary value: from foie... More

The place is just beautiful, the food is so good! The downside is the lack of choices, but that doesnt concerns me. Great place for a special date since its not cheap. But you will not regret it. The won ton with goat cheese apetizers are a must, and so is the duck brest with tangerine.

Everything we ate we enjoyed, but nothing stood out. There are so many other great restaurants, this is not worth the money.

Not sure why customer thinks restaurant is overpriced, our three course prix-fixe menu is $54, where most entrees in town at other restaurant our 30 to 40 dollars. More

Four of us went here for my wife's birthday. She did not leave unhappy! Our waiter was actually a local and not some seasonal worker - finally, a real waiter in Telluride. He led is through the menu and wine list with accurate descriptions and good suggestions based on our preferences. The wine list is not extensive, but it has... More

As mentioned by other reviewers, the restaurant is a cute, old cabin. This, however, means that the spaces are crowded. We arrived (on time) with a throng of other diners and had to wait to be seated. The waiting area was already crowded with people who were complaining they had been waiting to be seated for 15 minutes. Horrors! I... More
