The food here is excellent and the atmosphere friendly, cozy, yet casual. A great bet in Telluride.

This is a lovely, intimate spot for a quiet night with friends. I have been here twice. The first time during the summer it was fabulous. The second time in February 2011 my husband and I made reservations (based on our first experience) and were a bit disappointed. Our server seemed almost annoyed at our being there (which is unusual...

We found this restaurant just in time. After dining in a couple pretentious places, we were seeking a fine dining experience, complete with wine and ambiance but less the "tude" we have been seeing.
We were immediately shown to our very romantic table for 2 up against the window. We have a lovely server who helped us with suggestions a...

Enjoyable dining experience. I had the duck breast and my wife had the trout. We shared the organic greens and fennel salad. Good portions. So close to the gondola. Wait staff were attentive and good selection of wines by the glass. Only downside is that the eating area was a bit noisy. Glad we went.

I was shocked when I walked into what looked like a home on the outside, just like the house next door. The restaurant was beautiful--attractive bar and earth tones with pastel artwork. There is a wide variety of menu options--I had the mussels and the Rocky Mountain trout. Both were delicious. And the trout had a vegetable root ravioli on...

One of the nicest dinners we've had anywhere, let alone at a ski destination. The root vegetable ravioli accompanying the trout was divine, as was the tuna tartare and duck main course. We were unfortunately too full to go on to desert, though the menu was tempting. Very pleasant atmosphere, well decorated with paintings, and quick friendly service. We may...

We had a 7 day stay in Telluride and ate at 221 on our first and last, gala, night.
The food is delicious, the staff are so friendly and the atmosphere is intimate and fun. Great little bar to have a drink before dinner.
