We travel all over the country, and for here in town is probably the best fast Mexican food. But compared to some others around the country....is average.

This is where the locals eat. The margaritas are excellent, and apparently the Carnitas Platter is so good that we wind up ordering it every single visit.

Let's face it ... this place is all about the margaritas. Others have complained about the $8 drinks, but they're huge and strong. Guy next to us knocked down 2 in a row; not sure he should be driving home. Anyway, food was above average, but you won't notice after a margarita or two.

This is a little hole in wall, but dont let that deter you. The portions are large and at a decent price for a tourist town. I say try it!

If you know Mexican, you have to try Chavolos. This is not really Colorado style or Tex Mex. As a transplanted Californian, this is Mexican via California.
