A poor choice; ceaser salad tasted like something out of a Dole bag salad; steak was tasteless; halibut was soggy & not flakey. Only redeaming factor was our waiter - he did a great job!

I hope this is the restaurant in the Wine Country Inn. It was an area next to the bar in the Lounge. (Only restaurant in that hotel at this time.)
Menu was perfect. Traditional entrees and lighter fare. Service was excellent. Wold eat there again.

I enjoy appetizers in their lounge, but have been disappointed by their entrees too often. I like the service and atmosphere (designed in the 70's, but it's got a nice cozy feel for a date).

We had never dined at The Winery when owned by the original owners and were glad to see recent reviews that new ownership had brought the restaurant back up to par. We chose The Winery for our Valentine's dinner, although we did not go on Valentine's Day.
The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with subdued lighting, barnwood, exposed brick, oil...

My first visit to The Winery was with my wife on Jan. 7, 2012. I made early an early reservation (5:30) as we were going across the street to a 7:00 show at the Avalon Theater.

The food is very good. I think that they have re-vamped their menu because I don't actually remember it being quite this tasty before. The steaks were cooked perfectly. The service was very good also. I think it's a bit spendy for what you get. We had a party of 5 and spent $300 with drinks. That being said, I...

We took our daughter and her boyfriend here to celebrate a special occasion. The service and the food were both excellent. The ambiance was warm and quiet enough to allow us to feel that we were having our own conversation, not a shared one with all of the nearby tables. The Colorado lamb chops and the bison osso buco were...

I have been a resident of Grand Junction for almost 35 years. For most of that time the Winery was the best restaurant in Grand Junction. But when the original owner sold it a few years ago, it went downhill. The new owner has now gotten it right and I can say that the Winery today is better than ever...

Went there with a colleague and we enjoyed a nice relaxing dinner with nice atmosphere. He had beef, I had chicken; both very good. Good house salad and caesar salad as well. We were not disappointed. Nice downtown location easily walkable from local hotels.
