What a gem! This small family owned and operated restaurant serves reasonably priced, authentic, homemade Polish food, hunormous portions in a friendly and unassuming environment. Stop in and try them when you're in Glenwood Springs. They are near the Hot Springs Pool at the light! Closed on Sundays!

A fellow traveler found this place on a walk around Glenwood. We couldn't thank him enough. We were only in town from the Chicago area (largest Polish population next to Warsaw) for a few days but after dining here we came back again. The food is delicious. The owner a wonderful cook. We will return on our next visit to... More

Perogi's are fantastic! Homemade and fresh. The place itself is basic, but clean and neat. We loved this food and can't wait to go back.

A wonderful down home place for authentic food at a great price. Cabbage Rolls are the Best! Perogies as well, and the atmosphere is simple and quiet. The chef / owner is a wonderful person working hard to make this a success..

Polanka is a wonderful addition to the restaurant choices in Glenwood Springs. The Combo meal is excellent, as well as the Potato Pancakes and save room for the Cheese Blintz!! we have eaten there 4 times in the last 2 weeks. Concerning the review from MizzzRu, they need to give it a real try!! the place is not fancy but... More

We had 3 orders of pan fried pierogis for supper one night...really delicious! The restaurant is not fancy at all...but the food is quality. Would like to return to have the pork cutlet and sauerkraut dish that two ladies from Denver were raving over.

Yes, you may have to wait a bit to get your food, but you get it made fresh to order. How great is that! Real home cooking served by a motherly owner/chef. So mind your manners and savor the authentic flavors. This place is a gem.
