This restaurant is very reasonably priced. It has a varied menu. The restaurant has a rustic atmosphere. We enjoyed the elk tenderloin and the cajun shrimp with crab cake. The service was very good. We will definitely return!

We went in on a slow Saturday night. Seemed like a "locals" place. Known for their "wild" game we got their wild game sampler. The Food was fine, no "best thing I ever ate" but the Service was spot on and exceptionally friendly. The decor is fun, lots of "heads" so if your not a fan of that stuff you...

Fun decor, authentic feel and an unusually diverse menu highlight this local haunt. Menu is packed with game selections (elk, buffalo) and some unusual apps as well. Kids had a blast spotting different things hanging on the walls. Service was very friendly and the portions were huge. Fried Chicken (go figure?) was among the best we've ever had and the...

Casual rustic and kitsch decor. But the food and drinks were outstanding. Roasted quail appetizer was very well done. Local rack of lamb was one of the best ever. Local beer was very good. Fresh raw oyster were delicious. And the hostess was very knowledgeable about them and took the time to explain the source and flavor of each type...

Very busy place.
The decor was the only positive about this place.
Mounted deer heads and other game mounted on the walls! Fun decor.
Heard the crab cakes were outstanding... Nothing special! Rather bland.
The steaks very low grade!
Game nothing special!
For $150 for our table I should have put that $ towards the chophouse in beaver creek!

Quality of food was outstanding. The server was friendly, attentive & professional. Kids menu is priced perfectly.
We stopped into the Gashouse for a late dinner on a Friday night (8:00-ish). We were seated right away in the bar area. Like the other reviewers noted, there's a LOT of stuffed animals everywhere, so if that bothers you, it could be an issue. I'm a hunter, so no big deal for me.
We were in the mood for...

First meal here was very good, as was the service. Since then, meh...
Prices are quite high, considering this is Edwards, not Vail or Beaver Creek.
I think that it is a bit of "overkill" on the stuffed animals all over the walls.
We like the game sausage sampler, but the last time one of the links was frozen in...

Very nice establishment. The building is an original log cabin restaurant and the entrees include Elk fillets, buffalo rib eye steaks, and local fish. Reasonably priced and highly recommendable.
My wife and i dined at thsi place recently and were not disappointed. While the ombiance may not be for everyone, one finds themselves surrounded by an interesting array of regional artifacts. The wait staff was very firendly, the food was very good, certainly not what you would find everywhere.. We had among other things the the sausage sampler and...
