The food was ok - my husband had the elk (which was overcooked) and was not that thrilled. That said, the restaurant is in a cool, old hotel. It probably would've been worth just a stroll through the hotel and gone to eat somewhere else. More

Average food with above average decor. Victorian decor is very nice, the service is a little to formal while dress is informal. Prices are about average for this type of restaurant. More

The menu was excellent with lots of good choices.The food and service were terrific and my wife got a free glass of wine for her birthday. Highly recommended. More

Actually, a series of substitutions, which actually came off quite well. I had a dish that was supposed to have some sort of rare tropical fruit, in which grilled plantain was substituted, and it was outstanding. Beautiful setting, friendly and not overbearing service, reasonably priced--this place is worth a visit. More

“We loved our meal and server, met the chef too!”

The meal and service was spot on! She knew the menu and was very helpful with our selections. We were there on an evening with a 4 course menu for $45. Hanger steak and a pasta. They were both delicious. Try the calamada olive aioli that comes with the bread! Soup yum! Dessert panacotta! More

This is my favorite place to go for a special occasion. You will find people in dressy clothes or in jeans....but this is Durango. The food is excellent; service too.
