Had very good breakfast food at the Durango Diner. Had the breakfast burrito and the reviews didn't let me down. Atmosphere leaves something to be wished for, but this really is a diner. They have a few tables and several bar seats where you can watch the food being made.

We have been on a long trip and were lucky enough to have breakfast at the Durango diner. It is an old style diner and the breakfast was awesome. The servings are large and the staff is friendly and helpful. The Hash Browns were perfect!

This is a small, short-order grill with the seating bar facing the grill. I don't know if this ever made Diners, Drive-ins, or Dives but it should as this is the quintessential diner. The owner is great and the staff is perfect. They will cook you whatever and the food is great and very inexpensive. I highly recommend the green... More

This is absolutely the best breakfast in the country. The large side serving of fresh hash browns cooked in butter is a specialty. The ambiance reminds one of a 1940's or 50's time warp. Breakfast choices range all the way from traditional ham/bacon/sausage & eggs & pancakes to eggs "Mc Diner" to omelets to heuvos rancheros to green chili burritos.... More

If you want healthy, go some place else. This is a true diner, heavy on the grease. Which happens to be my liking, reminds me of southern style breakfast. Always friendly service and the option to eat next door, while drinking at el rancho. My favorite for over ten years has been, the cure. Crispy bacon and hash browns Been... More

If you're in the mood for a greasy spoon with staff that are brimming with personality, this is a good choice. We were there during their Sunday brunch rush hour and the air was thick with some god-awful smell that I can only assume was onions, etc. Be forewarned, the menu is very limited and there's not one healthy item... Went on a Wednesday afternoon during Spring Break. Service was fast and friendly. Chef said we didn't have to stick to menu. If we wanted something different to just ask. 2 of us had the green chile chicken sandwich - delish. Others had Reuben and were pleased. Not fancy, just sweet and simple. The green chile salsa is awesome and... More

Great "little" diner. The food they serve is bigger than the restaurant. Everything made to order. Old school diner, no frills, no fancy coffees or attitude. Get your order in, eat, get out. Cash only! I always recommend this to people.

This place is great every time. If you want an old fashion diner experience, this is the place to go. They have a bar were you can sit, drink coffee, and watch your food being cooked. The portions are all big and the price is about $7-$9 a plate. If you are like me and love a glass of orange... More

The green chili is incredible. Everything is homemade and so delicious. It is a greasy spoon of the best kind. The cure lives up to its name. The B&G is really great too. The food reaches its full potential when eaten at el rancho with a bloody.
