So we pulled into Durango at 9:30 on a Friday night. Three hungry, thirsty, tired drivers after 14 hours on the road. A must visit in Durango for the atmosphere and nice staff (rare in this town), but the food just isn't that great. I wish they'd be a little less experimental with the menu and get the easy stuff right before trying to get fancy.

Steamworks has a great patio when the weather is warm. The beers are fantastic and the menu is pretty good, especially for a brewery. This is a "must try" for your first visit to Durango!
