I am lucky enough to live about a mile from this place, and although the storefront is not very impressive, don't let that fool you. The baked good here are phenomenal. We come here at least once a week. Turkey and cranberry sandwiches are fabulous, salt bread rarely makes it home when I buy it. Kids love the gaicommetti (sp?)... More

Bread opens early and closes early....that is because they often sell out. Located off Florida Rd in the NE part of Durango. Just a few small bistro tables, but many people buy their muffins and pastries "to go". They sell coffee & tea, too. More

A little pricey but if you splurge once in a while you will enjoy almost anything they bake More

Bread has some of the best food in Durango -hand's down! It's unfortunate that I dread going to the store front! I often avoid the store and go to Guidos or other sellers in town to avoid the bakery. Bread is quite wonderful, but both my husband and I have experienced horrible customer service and rude staff (and fellow customers)... More

Besides the bread, they have great sandwiches. My husband also says the coffee is the best here - good flavor. I also really like the ham and cheese croissants. Be careful though--you need to pre order breads, rolls, etc on holidays (like Thanksgiving) because they run out of food pretty fast. Also, for some reason, they don't have much of... More

what a wonderful selection for bread, muffins, scones and pastries. and the prices are reasonable,too. i bought a loaf of challah bread that lasted me a week as it weighed about 2-3 lbs. More
