Don't know a thing about Ethiopian food, but my sister recommended it. Absolutely awesome flavors. And service outstanding. Perfect place for my five- and seven-year old nephews, too. I don't live in Colorado anymore, but, next time I visit, you can bet I'll return to Uchenna.

This is hands down the best place I have ever eaten at in Colorado Springs. Truly a hidden gem. Maya and her cooking are both out of this world! She cooks from the heart and it is very apparent. DELICIOUS. I would eat there every day if I could.

We had never eaten Ethiopian food. The owner was very kind to help us order, and then she taught us how to eat the food. When we left she gave us a "to go" box. I thought it was our remaining food, but when we opened it at our hotel she had given us dessert!

This restaurant has a wonderful food (a good variety for everyone in the family and even some WONDERFUL gluten free options) and Maya is absolutely an amazing joy. I try to share this restaurant with all my visitors and not one has gone away without falling in love with the food and the owner.
