The guacamole salad was fabulous which is a big draw but everything else was just okay. The food was not hot, just warm. I have eaten at much better "On the Border" restaurants.

On a Saturday afternoon before Cinco de Mayo, I expect a Mexican restaurant to have attentive staff! several different staff looked directly at us, yet none summoned a hostess. Just as we were about to leave one arrived and was rude. Two strikes should've told us to leave. Took forever to get food, which was hot and tasty. Maybe the...

This is third time at On the Border and we have enjoyed every experience. While the food is not home cooked mexican, the menu is offers a wide selection that will meet just about anyone's tastes. The staff is truly a team working to ensure customer satisfaction and swift service. Our waiter Mike was attentive and ensured our every need...

The server forgot to ring our order. It happens, I get it; but instead of coming to our table to tell us, he stood behind the bar and hollered that he 'spaced' it. We asked him to being us some queso while we waited. It never came, to our table that is; the other 'bartender' brought it to the table...

With sooooo many Mexican restaurant here they’re gonna have to step it up and either re-create their menu or I’m not sure what else could they do. Do NOT care for their food - horrible Enchiladas.

I've eaten at On the Border before on the Springs south end, this restaurant was on North Academy and I was in the area. Dinner here was not that great compared to the OnThe Border I experienced on the south end. A good wait staff, but the food was not that good in my opinion, maybe because they were busy...

My last 3 visits to the southgate location have been huge disappointment's it took 20 mins to get our drink order and another 25 to receive our enchiladas which anyone knoews takes no time to put together and it didn't seem to matter if the restaurant was busy or slow they still can't get it right!
Order the guacamole and I'm used to them presenting it I'm a bowl and mixing it in front if me. Today it comes out and its the amount of one avocado. I'm paying six dollars plus tax for this crap I ate in five chips. Not impressed and not coming back. Also its annoying to sit everyone close together when...
