Description: étoile, the Michelin-starred restaurant at Domaine Chandon, is one of Napa Valley’s most celebrated destinations and the only fine dining restaurant in Napa Valley located in a winery. An extraordinary setting, innovative regional California cuisine with a French influence, and seamless service combine to create the ultimate food and wine experience. At étoile, Chef Perry Hoffman marries classic, French-influenced technique with contemporary culinary innovation and fresh, seasonal ingredients. Hoffman works closely with Chandon winemakers to explore the interplay between wine and food, enhancing the experience of both. Guests may dine a la carte, or explore the ultimate food and wine pairing experience through Chef Hoffman's tasting menus at lunch and dinner. The restaurant features a Wine Spectator "Best of" Award Wine list and received a Michelin star in the 2010 and 2011 Michelin Guide after being recommended in 2007, 2008, and 2009.

First off both the restaurant and the Vineyard are superb. We ate in the Cafe during our tour and then in the restaurant a few days later. The tables in the restaurant are a little odd. My wife and I ended up sitting next to each other instead of across from one another....this made conversations difficult. The wine list was... More

We've eaten here before and came back again (3rd visit). We made reservations for lunch and started with 2 flights of sparking wines in the tasting room to sample 7 offerings of bubbles. Next we went to Etoile (the restaurant) for multiple courses of wonderful food items. Servers were just right - friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and attentive without being helicopters.... More

Please note this review is for their restaurant Etoile only, not the winery. Overall horrible experience. Cup was dirty with some sticky unknown substance and the waiter didn't even apologize, just simply took it and walked away. Bread had to be requested because they forgot to bring any it to the table. Food was bland and lacking quality. Hostess had... More

You have kids? Good kids? You want to eat out someplace nice? Perhaps enjoy mothers day? Well, you're not wanted here. Oh, yes, you can join their club then they will let you in. No club, no entrance. STAY OUT! Mothers day, went here to eat with our son. Good boy. Told if we didn't belong to the club then... More

Everything - the service, the food and, of course, the wine - was simply fantastic. We stopped by for lunch while touring Napa Valley (and the Chandon winery in particular) and di not regret doing so. The menu is very creative, and the ched clearly puts a lot of imgation and effort into creating the delicious creations. Everything sounded delicious... More

You must go regardless of whether or not you drink sparkling wines. Try all of them. Buy some. They were doing a special event closed to public but still made us feel welcome and special. Not so intimate but impressive place. More

This was an amazing dining experience. My husband and I ate here while visiting Napa, and we had an amazing meal. We did the tasting menu, which I highly recommend-- you get to try so many interesting and delicious things. The chef sends out a whole tray of "first bites"-- and they were all really delicious. Then the meal starts,... More

The service, the food and the wine were my favorite part of Napa. Suzanne our waitress was a pro! She is the perfect amount of coverage without hovering and so nice. Knew exactly what to recommend and set a perfect tone for the evening. Not to mention the AMAZING chef, it's no wonder he's earned a Michelin star, well deserved.... More
