Great food and excellent selection of tequila's. Being from Texas, it's hard to find good Mexican food when traveling. This is a place I will return to.

I think the service is the biggest problem this place has. Our server was never around. Water glasses went empty. A simple lunch took 90 min.
The food is quite good. Tacos were excellent if a bit spicy. The place was packed and HOT anywhere near the oven. Get a table at the entrance if you can.
Pricing was good....

We should have known we were in for a rough time when a pint of beer cost $10. We ordered a few small plates that were so-so...and one pint of beer... ended up paying close to $40. For bland guacamole and empanadas that tasted like hot pockets, it was pretty disappointing. Will not be back. They must just bank on...

Just returned from dinner with my family for Mother's Day, and know I will not return. Yes, the ambience is nice; yes, the food is fresh and a nice change from the usual Americanized-Mexican cuisine, and yes our service was good. But, our guacamole was "pre-made", meaning they hadn't bothered to cube, slice or mash the avocado into edible/scoopable portions,...

After an exhilarating and very cold ride over the Golden Gate Bridge, hubby and I cycled into Sausalito. We really needed to eat something and warm up! What we got was great food and a warm restaurant. The meals aren't huge but the quality made up for the quantity. My handmade soft tacos were fresh and flavoursome.

A cool weekend night was just right while waiting a few minutes for a table. Our server brought seasoned cucumber spears which woke up our appetites. The serving of three vegetable tacos seemed small when they were placed on the table. But they were just enough - I shared the third taco with my two companions. I liked the restaurant's...

Copita is a wonderful addition to downtown Sausalito. They have a fresh California take on Mexican food. For example, in the center of our table was a tall cup filled with spears of jicama and cucumber that had been seasoned with lime juice and a sprinkle of chili arbol and flake salt. So crisp and piquant. I used them to...

Copita's a real gem. The culinary skill and creativity are abundant when you taste a number of dishes. This is food with integrity and soul. Exec chef Joanne Weir and co-owner Larry Mindel have assembled a very talented group of people putting this dining experience together. Great bar to sit and try an array of tequila drinks. Or sit outside...

We had a great lunch on the lovely little terrace of this little unassuming Mexican restaurant located in the heart of Sausalito. Both the service and the food were excellent, all for a quite reasonable price. I definitely do recommend the place. As a side remark I also definitely recommend to anyone visiting SF to come to Sausalito – it’s...
