I'm a local and I live this place. There are many choices in SM, but Snug's is the best. Simple. Great food and service. It's a no fril place though. Get the Uncle Zeke's!

Hands down, this is one of the best mom and pop old school diners I've been to in LA. It's small and quiet and a neighborhood/family operation for almost 70 years. People love this place. Personally I think they love to say the name;Snug Harbor.As in "we love Snug Harbor" or "our favorite place is Snug Harbor".
