Want to take a trip without the airfare, enjoy India in your back yard. Good service, great food.

The Indian food here is quite good, although there are relatively few original or unique dishes. My best frame of reference is Royal Khyber, near South Coast Plaza in Orange County, with a national reputation for its cuisine. I find the tandoori dishes at Lotus to be far superior, especially the chicken and the ground lamb seekh kabob, as is...

Good place to get a clean decent meal. I'm always happy with the Tandori Chicken, Aloo Gobi, Veg. Samosas and a few orders of Nan. The service is very friendly and you can get food to go.

Although we have been here only twice for dinner, my brother came here often for lunch. We always feel welcome in Paul's nice atmosphere. Good, varied selection to eat. Everything nice and fresh. It is a special treat when the ceiling rolls back and you see the stars!

Was taken to a table. Asked about the buffet. He didn't seem too interested in telling us that they would close in about 15 minutes. So we were surprised when we were told to pay and leave while we had just sat down to eat. The waiters had their jackets on and walked out without any, "Thank you for coming",...

I was very excited to bring my wife to dine at this restaurant after reading the reviews and looking on their website at the many vegan options. Our initial impression of the Lotus decor was impressive. We enjoyed the murals, photos and sculptures along with the music and the scent in the air. The staff was very welcoming and knew...

This place is great; wonderful food, aroma, atmosphere, all the trappings! My problem is the arrogant attitude the waiters and entire staff exemplify, and worse (as in the native culture) they display a certain subordinate attitude toward the females at the table. They consider the 'male figure' as if he is the superior; the leader'. Additionally, when I call in...

I was in Rajasthan last year and took cooking classes so feel I can be a reasonable judge of these cuisines. The good - great Keema Naan, excellent Chicken Makhini and Lamb korma, many other dishes are quite good too. Service is excellent, setting lovely - especially on a summer night with the roof rolled back. Sometimes the scents are...

Understand that this review is based on one visit and one dish. Attractive enough restaurant. Competent if harried service (Saturday night, full to capacity.) Disappointing saag paneer. Glutinous not creamy. Flavorless cheese. Slightly sweet–maybe the chef thinks Americans won’t eat it if it doesn’t have corn syrup. Could have used some fresh ginger rather than the few shreds of cilantro...
