I was in the cafe tonight and thoroughly enjoyed the evening with one exception. You had a party of about eight folks who didn't seem to enjoy themselves and were extremely unpleasant. They were rude and disruptive and obviously had no clue as to the relaxed atmosphere of this wonderful cafe. They complained about everything and left before dinner was... More

It's not just good food, not just friendly staff, or the unique family style experience...make an evening adventure out of this wonderful little gem of a restaurant! While down in San Luis Obispo, I was challenged with trying to find a cuisine that we hadn't been to before. Being a huge foodie and world traveled I thought this would be... More

I live in the Santa Ynez Valley and drive through San Miguel ... pffffft ... who knows how many times, always on the way to somewhere, or on the way back from the same or a different somewhere. And I always think, "I should stop here in San Miguel and check it out; it looks like an interesting place" ...... More

Compliments of the chef - started with home made bread and olive spread. Very delicious. For lunch, my boyfriend had steak sandwich and I had salad and paella dish. We both had very large glasses of ice teas. Overall very good food and cute atmosphere. Everything came to about 30 dollars and was well worth it. There are no menus,... More

Having read the reviews, we were very excited about our evening at the Tenth Street Cafe. The food wasn't worth it, the drink wasn't worth it, and the service definitely wasn't worth it. We have eaten at Basque restaurants around the country and this definitely was the worst. The menu was uninspiring and the quantities were sparse (one small chicken... More

This is my favorite restaurant around here. I would love to go more often. Everything I have had has been so good! We like to go for special occasions like Father's Day and anniversaries. More

An evening at the Tenth Street Basque Cafe is an absolute MUST for anybody in the Central Coast looking for a great homemade meal served by very friendly people in an incredibly fun environment. And the ringleader of this party? Chef Dallas. Don't want to make a trip to San Miguel just for dinner? Hey, I understand, but suck it... More

We so wanted to love this place. We wanted to have an experience similar to great visits to European chef choice restaurants. After wanting to eat here for some time, we decided to try it with some relatives visiting us as it seemed great for a group enviroment. The food did start out great with excellent appetizers and tasty soup.... More

Tenth Street Cafe is an amazing dining experience. Chef Dallas, along with his excellent staff make you feel like family. The food is bountiful, my favorites are many, like basque potatoes, albacore fishcakes and chicken and sausage paella. I enjoy the family style dining where you get to enjoy the company of others. When you arrive at 10th street Cafe... More

I have been coming to the 10th Street Cafe for over half a decade. Every year I drive through San Miguel on my way to visit family on the Central California Coast. I spend a night in Paso Robles for no other reason than to take the family to visit Dallas and Karen. The food is amazing, the party atmosphere... More
