Vastly overpriced for what we got. The Caesar salad used junk lettuce and was terrible. The steaks were only so-so. The only really good food was the bread. Ruth Chris's Steak House is far superior!

The steak I was served was very good, however it wasn't almost $50 good... As well as that, I understand how you'd want to use dimmed light to create a nice atmosphere, but I actually want to see what I'm eating...

I have previously been to Mortons in San Francisco and the experience was excellent, so had high expectations for the restaurant in San Jose last night. For the price, things should be superb-- they weren't. Rare means at least warmed up to a normal cow body temp, not fresh from the fridge. Cow sushi can be tasty, but when I want that, I'll order it raw.

The food really is excellent! You can't go wrong with the steaks at this place. Just be prepared to pay for it. It's usually pretty crowded and service can take a while so don't be in a hurry. If you want to impress someone, take them to Morton's. It was much more than I wanted to pay. The food and service was great and I like to know that I have eaten there.

Excellent steaks, salads, and sides, but it took forever to get our entrees. To be safe, plan for a 3 hour dinner. Disappointing that after such a large dinner spend, the service was so uncomfortably slow...my guess is that half the kitchen staff didn't show up for work that night. I am going to think twice before returning.
