And I won't eat here. Tried to twice...same results. Bleh! Need more? The service was so laid back they barely know you came in the door. Food just unimpressive.

I usually love to try the most "hole in the wall" places as I often find that these have the best food, but I was very disappointed in El Jefe. The food was bland and uninteresting. The first sign of trouble was the salsa which is served with tortilla chips at the table. My husband asked if there was another...

Just a small place off El Camino Real. Named after it's reputation for being a good place to pick up a day laborer (back when it shared a parking lot with the local hardware store. A family run restaurant offering authentic Mexican food at a very reasonable price. Beer by the bottle, glass or picture, too.
