Creative food well prepared. Prices are not cheap, but reasonable. The wait staff is very attentive. Nice place to eat outdoors on a nice day. Good for brunch, lunch or dinner. Dogs allowed outdoors.

Recently had a family lunch which was very nice in many ways. Only slight disappointment was the pricey aspect.
They have a small patio on the street sidewalk. This was a nice spring (winter) day, and we grabbed a small table along the front. Our server was excellent, very attentive and supportive during our entire meal. The menu has alot...

My husband took me here for my birthday. We both thought the food was great, the setting romantic and I was so happy to be at a restaurant where I could happily talk to my spouse without having to yell. I know that they have music to liven the atmosphere after 8 (I Think)? So take your pick, go early...

It is cozy here, with a great staff. The food is good, but I love the wine flights and mushroom risotto.
Food and drink menu is creative and appealing, and has a nice variety. Good quality of ingredients. The outdoor seating area is fairly large, and you can be entertained for hours with the foot traffic. Piacere is always reliably good!
Nice decor, white cloth on the table, white cloth napkins. Good food, bread and olive oil for starters. I had the sausage and peppers and, although not to the PA. NJ, or NY standards I'm accustomed to, it was very good. I cannot remember what my wife had, but she was very pleased with it.
I will definitely return to...

Creamy Truffle Sauce, which was excellent; the Toybox Tomatoes, Burrata Cheese, Basil Oil, creamy Burrata with sweet, fresh baby tomatoes; and the Tomato Pizza, Roma Tomatoes, Old Fashioned Mozzarella, Basil. I have been here before,...

My mother took me here while I was visiting this month, she lives just north in San Mateo. We were there on a Thursday evening, the farmer's market was winding down but there was quite a crowd here as well as up and down this main drag.
I'm a bit biased since I spent 20+ years in the restaurant business...

Over rated and over priced place for a fish dinner. Cold interior....wish I had a better impression to share. I'm a local resident.... hardly ever go there to dine
Piacere has a bad attitude and you feel it the minute you walk in the door. Hostesses seem not to get that they are not in New York and that most their clientel is overflow from Town accross the street. Bartender seemed irritated when I ordered a drink while waiting for my friend, wait staff just seemed depressed and uninterested....
