Get the grilled artichoke, simply exquisite. Very helpful waitress with good suggestions and alternatives. Lettuces for salads were out of sight!

I tried the hefeweizen (no lemon please) it was very good. My wife tried the Scottish red and Stout both were good. I had a field green salad and the sea bass with artichoke, spinach risotto. The salad was good and the fish great. My wife had the special swordfish with the same risotto and she said it tasted great.

We came to Salinas to visit the Steinbeck Center and so were looking for a lunch spot close by. This restaurant had a nice atmosphere, nice food, and nice service. I had the pizza special: pesto, chicken, tomatoes, and garlic. Delicious. My husband's ravioli was good as well. Would return on a future trip to Monterey.

Locally owned microbrewery with good food and personable staff. Old, charming building. Beer is brewed and sold in-house only. Their porter was similar to Guinness and absolutely delicious.

We went there hoping for some good food and great beer. We got SLOW service and half the beers were out. We were there for over 2 hours and all we ate was onion rings, quesadilla and a tiny bowl of soup. We left disappointed!

We went out of our way a little during our vacation along Hwy 1, to try Monterey Coast Brewing Co. We weren't disappointed! They had a nice selection in their sampler. My husband particularly enjoyed the Hefeweizen, the Porter, and the Pale Ale. I had a brownie with ice cream. I expected it to be your run of the mill... More

American cooking at it's best. steaks & pasta & fish. Probably the best part is the beer! lol I don't think I have ever had anything bad here. The appetizers are good, too.

Four of us decided to give this place a try. I must say, it was a good choice. The Melted Nacho Platter was very good. Nachos piled high, lots of melted cheese, guacamole, Jalapenos, sour cream and salsa. One of the other guys ordered the calamari, which was also very good. I ordered an Italian Sausage Pizza, which I enjoyed... More

Our party of 6, including 2 kids, ate here for dinner and we liked the beer selection and the food options, which are complimenting the beers on offer nicely. Also, this is what I would call a "cosy" place, it gives you that warm feeling while enjoying your meal or just having a chat over a few beers with your... More
