Description: Now with a full bar Risibisi is a charming & friendly place located in downtown Petaluma which serves healthy, authentic Italian food featuring the finest local ingredients. Chef Giuliana, native of Massa Carrara, Tuscany prepares rustic regional dishes that are authentic and traditional to those found in small towns throughout northern Italy. Specialties of the house include our homemade gnocchi with wild boar, pumpkin filled ravioli with walnut sage, and our rack of lamb chops with balsamic reduction. Our extensive wine list features hundreds of imported Italian wines as well as spectacular Sonoma wines hand selected to complement your meal. I have given several gift certificates to staff members and friends. They all seemed to enjoy the experience and food and the location is very centrally located. More

I had a gift certificate to this restaurant, and it was a good thing. It's very expensive, so I doubt I'll go again. The food was good, an unusual menu, but the service was very slow. For that much money, I expected better service. More

I heard some good things about this restaurant and some things were good but most were not. I took some family and friend's last Sat. early evening not busy but it was early so I figured service would be great and so should the meal. The service was O.K. and the meal was not very good and a bit pricey,... More

Last Saturday, I had the pleasure to dine at this great restaurant for the second time and meet owner Marco and chef Mirco. This restaurant serves wonderful Italian dishes using the freshest items that are locally produced in the beautiful Sonoma county. Dinner was outstanding and so was the presentation of dishes. Chef Mirco is extremely talented and his creations... More

Risibisi never fails to please. We have been to lunch several times and it is a lovely place for a late, leisurely lunch. The menu frequently changes, with a diverse selection of gourmet Italian dishes. This is not a typical Italin menu of pasta. Service is always excellent and the prices are very reasonable for a gourmet restaurant. More

This place came highly recommended by friends plus recognition in the Michelin Guide every year since 2008. 3 of us had the Veal Scaloppine, with Meyer lemon, capers, white wine, and roasted potatoes for $24.95. The menu is small and the prices high so I figured that it would be a delicious meal. It was a chewy cut of meat... More

We were hesitant to go to Risibisi after reading the last review on here but we are SO glad that ignored the one bad review. Our meal was awesome! I ordered the beet risotto and my husband had the short ribs with wild mushroom sauce. I thought that the risotto was perfectly creamy without being heavy. My husband loved his... More

Something has happened to formerly delicious Risibisi. The food there last Sunday night was truly poor. Squash ravioli we ate there a few months ago were the best I had ever tasted but this time they were overly sweet and almost inedible. Crustini were made with tasteless tomatoes. In fact nothing tasted good. We overheard tables on each side of... More

We waited almost 1/2 hour before getting water. Then it was another hour before we actually got our meal. The place wasn't that busy, but the wait staff seemed disinterested in serving customers. The food was just ok. They did have a good wine list. More
