We went in for a light afternoon meal. I thought the Maine Lobster salad open faced sandwich sounded interesting and it was great. My wife had the asparagus salad and it left her wondering if they had run short of asparagus that day; only 4 pieces of asparagus. Service was very good, atmosphere was fabulous.

Definitely one of the high points of our trip back down the California coast. We were fortunate enough to get an outside patio table (for lunch) overlooking the 18th hole of the golf course on a beautiful sunny day. Our lunch was excellent - though pricey - but we were not hurried by our waiter and our service could not... More

We ate here for dinner, but had the food served at the fireplace. My cod was excellent, and the seabass one of my pals had was excellent, as well. Fish appetizers were all outstanding, too. Coconut cake for dessert hit the spot, and all drinks and wine were very solid. Entrees start at $30 and go up from there. While... More

We took my daughter, Olivia to the Stillwater Grill in honor of her graduation on Sunday. We booked a 5.30PM reservation and got a great table in the window. If you havent been to The Lodge at Pebble Beach, it's worth a stop on your next visit to Carmel. It is surprisingly accessible and friendly for non-golfers and golfers alike.... More

Sure, it's the Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner room at the Lodge so one doesn't expect much, but we were wrong. It was really good and a beautiful day - and those BIG bay view windows. Started with a crab cake which was "different" prep and delicious. My wife had the open face lobster sandwich and I had sand dabs and again... More

We stopped here to have lunch on our 17 Mile Drive tour, take in the wonderful views of the historic course and do some shopping. We had a terrace table with excellent views of the 18th green. Our meal was delicious and our server was a true professional. Our wine was pricey but it's to be expected at a location... More

Dinner at Stillwater was loud...the decor was surprisingly plain. Views are great, though at night that doesn't matter. The soup of the house, a corn-milk creation, was good, and calamari were exceptional. My salmon entree was disappointing: very small and dry. Children's menu had ridiculously few items. Recommendation: stick to lunch where you will enjoy the views and the prices... More

We did the 17 mile drive early morning and stopped at the Pebble Beach Resort to look around. We asked where we could find a coffee shop and the manager actually walked us out front to point out the location. When we asked if we could get breakfast there he told us they served a full breakfast in the lodge.... More

Last stop on "17 mile road". Great place to have lunch. The clam chowder is delicious, with the right amount of spices and a good serving of clams. The petit shellfish platter has a good assortment of oysters, crab legs, clams and shrimps. Service is attentive and courteous. The view on the golf course and ocean, just gorgeous!

My wife and I and another couple ate lunch here after doing the 17-mile drive (another must while here). The food is definitely overpriced but the view is great. Each couple split an appetizer and had a couple drinks. It's really the view that you are there for. We probably should of bucked up for lunch but we were tired... More
