I agree with cvcalifornia. This place is coasting on its reputation. I took my BF there and he was shocked that the hamburger was something like $13. And it wasn't that special. Even back in the 80's this place was overrated. The menu is not very interesting. The Salad Diane is their version of a Chinese chicken salad. Iceberg lettuce,... More

Green Street is one of our favorites, and we frequently go there for breakfast. We love the French toast and my wife always has the Dianne salad, even in the morning. It's a great place for comfort food in a relaxed setting.

Glad we found this place. Stayed at the Sheraton on Cordova St. Decent walk to restaurant. Kind of tucked on a back street. Customer service was the type that defines customer service. Waiter grabbed phone charger for my sister in law and called for taxi after breakfast. They serve a zucchini bread that is amazing, free. Bloody Mary's spicy and... More

I come here several times a year with my wife and another couple. We always get a salad, each couple sharing one. Fresh zucchini bread comes along with it. The service last night was a bit slow and water was scarce.

Everything on the menu sounded wonderful, but I had to get my fill of Diane Salad while in Pasadena recently. Green Street continues to be a success in offering what the customer loves in a restaurant - great evolving menu, outdoor dining, wonderful service. A must for a casual breakfast or lunch.

My wife and I come here about 2-3 times a year. Usually lunch or brunch, never dinner. Today was my first breakfast and what a delightful breakfast it was. Pleasant atmosphere, good service and decant food - perfect settings for an early business meeting. If you are in Pasadena, don't miss this place - you'll like it.

Try the Diane's salad, a shredded chicken salad with delicious dressing. There is always a house baked sweet bread as an alternative to standard rolls, sometimes zucchini, or banana. Delicious. Really good vegetarian alternatives, especially the grilled vegetables with jerk sauce. Too much jerk sauce will make the top of your head explode, but your mouth will be happy happy... More

We're long time fans of this restaurant and have made it our 'go to' restaurant anytime we're in town. This evening's meal was no exception to the quality, fresh and flavorful food; extensive menu and personable, attentive service we have ALWAYS received. Highly recommend this dining experience - the Diane salad and zucchini bread are our favorites!!!

Everything here is good...even the zucchini bread (you can buy a loaf on the way out the door) The salad keeps us coming but the food tastes just like mom was working in the kitchen-don't know how they do it! Next time you're in Pasadena give them a try, you'll love it!
