From the outside it appears to be a smaller venue and once you enter the entire space opens up and you realize how large a place it is. Excellent, friendly service in an open light atmosphere that looks as if it would be noisier than it was. High ceilings with many groups and duos seated enjoying the small plates and... More

Four of us had dinner on a Wednesday night. Great selection of Mediterranean/California style dishes. Four appetizers we shared the hummus, dolmas, and grilled prawns. For small plates we shared the Bibb salad, chicken skewers, and another dish I can't remember. During the meal we were served by several different waitpersons but it was difficult to locate someone when we... More

We were in the back room with a group. they were short staff and it was hot! Heard from others that this was the exception, but very disappointing. liked the family style service and food was good.

Met my girlfriends for drinks and appetizers, and we loved the cod fish fritters, the hummus, the chicken skewers, Brussel sprouts, etc., but the dining area facing the kitchen was positively cold beyond acceptable. The other dining area and the bar were warmer. We mentioned it twice and were offered to be moved to the warmer area but choose to... More

I was taken to this restaurant by some local friends, from the exterior you think its all very bijou and just a few tables but once you get in and past the bar it opens up into a very nice space indeed. Our waitress was attentive but mis-understood our initial appetiser order, but this was quickly remedied and the appetisers... More

I used to eat at Zibibbo quite a bit in it's early days. It was great food then and earned a strong reputation. I just had dinner there last Friday night and the restaurant still looks good, but the food was just ok. The food menu seems like it hasn't changed much over the years and the menus themselves were... More

I've been looking forward to eating here, based on good reviews and the ubiquitous lines of people trying to get in. Clearly, it's a good restaurant with a great bar and interesting menu, but it didn't quite live up to my hopes. Everything took quite a while, and it didn't seem like such a busy night. The food was good,... More

We used this location for a meeting so we had a large private room in the back. Our meeting included 14 people. There was plenty of room. The appetizers were tasty and the dinner was very good. The one downside is that some level of noise bleeds in from the main restaurant...it could be quieter but for Palo Alto it... More

The appetizers more memorable than main dishes, but this is not a knock on the main dishes. But the appetizers were fun and different. Our group shared a bunch of appetizers and all were great: we loved the giant prawns, goat cheese chicken skewers, watermelon salad and of course the truffled french fries. We ran out of Israei cigars before... More

We ate their with friends who recommended one of their "signature" dishes, succulent roast pork. Kitchen substituted pork chops when apparently they couldn't cook the pork fast enough. No one checked with table. This place is pricey enough it should not happen. Waiters stonewalled the complaint until hosts finally talked to manager who offered them (but Not us who were... More
