A very local eatery. Pleasant atmosphere. On a busy street and you would never guess the food inside would be so fabulous. I think cafe is an understated description of Fifi's. This is fine dining and gourmet food.

Been to this spot several times with friends. The plusses-out of downtown Monterey so you can easily park, most of the pasta dishes are excellent particularly on the seafood, crunchy fresh really good bread, dessert menu. The minuses-service can be erratic, server can be hard to locate/pin down, tomato and basil soup uninspired, a little overpriced.
