This is our source for the amazing boudin noir, or blood sausage, from Pacific Gourmet Co. We ate this at Bistro Jeanty/Yountville, and were excited to find Genova carries it. If you like liver, this is a magnificent example of French charcuterie: soft, rich, and delectable! More

After about 500 sandwiches, I am not kidding, I first went to Genova at their old location, I speak with experience as a background. They make a great sandwich. Great sandwiches. Solid, tasty, satisfying. Gosh, I wish I could get one now (but they are closed right now). Also a pan of their veggie lasagna satisfies a crowd and is yummy. More

Came here for lunch with a client. Wasn't sure where his was taking me but I thought I was back on dock in Augusta Bay, Sicily. Wow, if you want a perfectly prepared sandwich in Oakland, visit this parking lot space. From the moment you walk in you want to eat everything.
