We went to the bar for dinner about 10:30pm Saturday night and they were are gracious as if it was 5pm. Outstanding clam chowder. We have eaten in the dining room several times. The room is very elegant but they treat you well whether you are in shorts or evening wear. Great view of the Oakland waterway. More

Classic Italian Fare. Groups from 2 to 200+ may make arrangements there, at the foot of Jack London Square. Combine it with a stroll to watch the boats, visit little shops. Cinema just two blocks away. More

The ambience for the Sunday Jazz Brunch is perfect! Sitting on the outside patio overlooking the water with a front row seat to great people watching is a fun way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Excellent jazz playing in the background, a buffet with a Creole touch, and decent free flowing champagne makes for a real dining event. The usual... More

We ate here early on a Sunday evening - after an A's game at the Coliseum. I think that it is fair to say that each person is the family enjoyed themselves quite nicely. My wife was pleased especially with the view of the Oakland waterfront, and the tasteful decor throughout. My son entertained himself with trips from the table... More

well, they found a way to ruin fresh fish. pretty much all menu items were "crusted", "battered", "sauced", etc. Asked for grilled salmon which they killed/over cooked. Obviously, the chef didn't have experience with this difficult task. Quite pricey for what you get. Seems like it belongs in rural Mid- West as opposed to SF Bay area. More

If you have never heard of Dungeness crab, you simply cannot leave the Bay Area without trying it. This crab is pure sweetness, with none of the fishy or tinny flavors that East Coast crab can have. Scott's Seafood offers one of the finest Dungeness "Crab Louis" salads in the area. They offer a mountain of crab on beautiful greens... More
