We've been to El Trocadero twice now and both times were very impressed. The restaurant is in the heart of "Old Town" Newhall, CA. The staff is friendly and efficient. The food...very yummy. The best mexican margarita I've ever had. These guys know how to do it right! The also have fantastic fish dishes. Located in the cute oldtown Newhall district.

I really like this place. Casual enough to go straight from work or running errands, but still has a nice feeling to it. Smaller, but nicer than El Torito. Live music on the first and third Wednesdays. Calm atmosphere. The vodka sangrias are delicious!!
