Meet family there for dinner. There was 8 of us and the wide variety on the menu had something for everyone. All meals were prepared well, and everyone was happy with the quality of the food. Their tres lech cake is fantastic choice for desert.

Tucked in a far corner of Morro Bay's back estuary, the Bayside is a favorite spot for lunch and dinner for both locals and visitors---who have been tipped off. Situated Bayside, adjacent to rows of moored sailing and motor vessels, the setting alone makes the Bayside a tempting destination. But, fortunately to culinary offerings are commensurate with the sublime setting....

We went here because it was after 8 and it was still open and we and very glad we did. The Halibut was fresh and absolutely cooked to perfection. This is the best seafood dish I've had in MB. The green chile soup was something we have never had and it was excellent. The service was fantastic. We highly recommend this...

Outstanding Food, Great Service and an Outside Deck. My 1st Stop when I'm in Morro Bay. With a Great View of the Bay and Harbor, it Doesn't get any Better.
Get there early because indoor seating is limited. The food was high quality, the service was good and the dessert was excellent.
A fun little place to eat by the bay and watch the fishing boats go by. Morro Bay is a beautiful place to visit (or live) and we love coming back. The seafood here is great and the prices are very reasonable. Plenty of parking and a few miles from downtown embarcaderro.
This great find, tucked away from the tourists in Morro Bay's "back" bay, near the Natural History Museum and State Park, is the place for a "home-cooked" meal. The soups, salads, sandwiches, and desserts are super. If you're lucky enough to get a seat at this popular-with-the-locals restaurant you won't be disappointed. The seafood salad is always a treat, as...

Overlooking the bay, just behind the dock, the Bayside is a favorite to sit outside and enjoy coffee, tea, breakfast and the newspaper on a sunny day. Friendly staff and well prepared, fresh food.
We have been here 3 times for lunch. A realtor suggested it. Indoor and outdoor seating with views of the water and boats. The food is good and servers are friendly. We will try them for breakfast next time we are there.
I had heard many good things about the Bayside Cafe and it came highly recommended by my sister (whose suggestions I generally trust). It was okay, nothing more. Ordered the "famous" nachos and they were average at best. Service was pretty slow, meals were not overly tasty and it was just okay. Nothing memorable.
