This place looks like a hole-in-the-wall, but the food is excellent. I love the shrimp burrito and the Mango Salsa. At dinner time there can be a waiting line out the door.

Consistently fabulous service and you won't find a better fish taco anywhere! Actually, any dish you order is excellent. The fish burrito can easily be shared by two.
Have been here over 50 times and never been disappointed. Its cash only so be prepared. I always stay away from the specials, they tend to be pricey, and huge portions. Don't get me wrong they are good, but i love the simple cheap massive carnitas taco. It is huge, so one can can fill you up if you are...

Outside of the chips and fresh salsa and the use of gigantic flour tortillas, it's not Mexican food. It's fantastic California Fusion. Healthy, tasty, fresh with impressive quality, serving sizes and the best of service. It seems to be family run and they do a great job. We brought our one-year old and her occasional "baby outbursts" didn't even turn-a-head...

What a delightful experience. Not only was the food excellent, but the service was excellent. The cafe is small, but they do a wonderful job of getting the food out so turnover seemed painless. I was totally impressed with the quality and amount of food served. I do believe if you are only moderately hungry, you could easily split a...

Follow the locals advice and you will end up at good eateries. While we studied the menus we could check out the huge servings that were carried to other guests. We were warned not to order too much. The crispy nachos at the self-service were topped by delicious dips, very fresh, home made, some hot, others just spicy. Any kind...

You have got to try this place. They make outstanding fish tacos. Light and delicious. They are a cash only place and they display this fact at the front door. they are not in the tourist area of morro bay but that makes you get out and explore a little. Can get crowded so go with the knowledge that you...

We ate outside at a picnic table, with our dog, after a walk on the beach. One fish taco is plenty; I ordered two and couldn't eat it all. Very tasty!
We had to go here at least once since it gets so many good reviews. I think it should be on triple "D" because it is very different. As most reviewers point out it is not real Mexican food. It is sort of "surfer dude" southwestern. The place itself is nothing special but you can serve yourself to all the...

I was put off by what I considered high prices until I tasted the food. I was blown away by being able to taste the carnitas in my burrito. Next time I will eat there rather than take-out and try something more adventurous.
