Great dim sum, fast and hot and cheap. You can stuff yourself and a friend for less than $30 with tax and tip. Haven't been there for dinner.

We think this is the best Dim Sum restaurant in southern California. We often go with friends that come all the way from Ventura County to join us. The food is good, the servers helpful and the prices are reasonable. We have not tried every Dim Sum restaurant, but have tried enough to be more than satisfied with this choice.

I prefer NBC over Ocean star. Expect lines when you come here for brunch during the weekends. Weekday lunches are more manageable.

I only come here for their dim sum. On weekends the place is normally very crowded. Try to come earlier on weekends. I think they are open pretty early. If you get there around 11:30 a.m., I think there probably won't be any wait. If not, the wait can take up to half an hour or longer. Weekdays are okay.... More

This place is crazy on the weekends, but worth the trip to Monterey Park. NBC Seafood has expanded, and the new restaurant is much better. The food is still great. All my favorite dim sum offerings. Visiting family in LA this weekend and we had Dim Sum at NBC. The food was very good and very reasonably priced ($100 for party of 8). I definitely recommend.

We travel down from the central coast of California and will go out of our way to eat here. Just visited here again over the Memorial weekend and it was busier than ever (do not let the long line discourage you as they are the masters in turning over tables in an effiecient manner).
