I was looking for a restaurant I dined at in 1999 for my wedding reception. Same location...new restaurant. Fabulous food and wine. We enjoyed The Possessor by Tooth and Nail. I had a special with braised ribs...beyond description. My husband had the New York steak special. If we ever get back to Monterey, we will be dining here again.

The food is good, but not at these prices. This place has atmosphere, good service, location and all of these essentials, it's just that it's so overpriced as to sort of take off from what should be an over the top experience. Our steaks were excellent. Get your wealthy friend to pick up the tab and all will be well.

Showed up on time for our reservation and had to wait. Busy and noisy. Had to ask twice for bread. Food when it did arrive was good, but not great, except that the bread was excellent.

On vacation from Connecticut and came across this gem. Atmosphere is relaxing with clouds above your head. We had the smoked artichoke and it was amazing. Staff was attentive and professional...a wonderful dining experience.
