This restaurant has received rave reviews from Zagat. If you have a reservation, it is a nice place for lunch. Expensive but wonderful sushi. Intimate atmosphere.

Great but not wow!
Best Japanese in town - expensive Kaiseki meals, but amazing
Best sushi place on peninsula?
This restaurant was recommended to me by someone who has excellent taste in food and wine (and owns her own successful restaurant). I went once and just wasn't impressed. I'll try it again, but I felt I spent way too much money for average service and a so-so wine list. The food was fine, but nothing to write home about.
Bets Japanese in the Bay Area in the most unlikely location. Too small, too expensive and too snobby but the food is worth it.
I'll eat here any day! The kaiseki menus are wonderful, and everything tastes so fresh. Great food, especially given the, um, low-key location.
great sushi, but I'm not as much a fan of the other stuff
Tried Kaiseki in this restaurant - too pricey and it's not comparable to what I had in Kyoto...
