“Great Sandwiches and Wraps”

I am not much of a meat eater and because of that, the lunch choices in Mariposa are pretty limited. Not so at Shortstop. “A Great Giant Sandwich”

I ordered a turkey and cheese with all the fixings on fresh sourdough bread. They served it with large purple onions and plenty of mayo. It was so fresh and tasteful. Had ice tea in a large beer glass. Ate on the nice shady patio. Yum.

New to town, thoiught I'd check out the local alternatives to the Subway. Sandwiches are fresh, great combinations of ingredients, and dense with the good stuff--I think you get a good deal on a pound-for-pound comparison basis. “Just off the Yosemite highway”

This is my favorite place to get lunch when I go to Mariposa. It is an unassuming sandwich shop right across the street from the historical museum & post office, one block down from the highway.
