Description: After soaking in the TRB’s Santa Barbara mission architecture, you’ll enter and be greeted by a triple arched Brunswick mahogany bar. Large bowls of colorful citrus for making cocktails sit atop a twenty-foot long bar perfect for grabbing a glass of wine or a bite to eat. As you explore further towards the display kitchen, you enter our lounge, also referred to as the wine library. Knotted wood shelves display our wines, divided up by wine region. Windows surround the North side of the dining room, allowing our guests to gaze out onto the fountain in our courtyard. I describe the décor as thoughtful and collective, creating little vignettes for dining areas. We offer two separate outdoor dining experiences: our courtyard with full service and our front porch great for appetizers, drinks and a game of bocce.

We know Manhattan Beach quite well, as our son has lived there for almost 20 years. We really liked a certain restaurant, and had often met friends there for lunch. However, our son told us that this restaurant had closed, so we had to find a new one. What better way to find one than by checking things out on... More

Situated in a large shopping center just off Sepulveda Boulevard, the Tin Roof Bistro is a five minute drive from a large number of the hotels that service LAX. It's not a restaurant for foodies, but don't be put off by its mall location. The eclectic lighting is a harbinger of a person with good taste, or, more accurately, tastes... More

New to the area, met some friends here for a birthday celebration. There were about ten of us, and they sat us in the patio area, which was wonderful. In spite of the large crowd, the waitress never missed a beat, the service was marvelous. The wine list is great. Don't expect frozen blended drinks like margaritas or pina coladas,... More

OK, just have to say...ample parking and no valet needed is a big plus! Food very delicious. Shared the Brussel Sprout starter with my friend. Worth every calorie....it was dripping in oil. Restaurant allows you to substitute veggies of choice for potatoes on entrees without charging extra. I really really appreciate this sort of accommodation. Restaurant is not inexpensive...but I... Very cozy place, excellent service and very tasty menu. When I read the place listed as American food I was not sure about it, I thought burgers and fried stuff or broiled, you get the idea.... but after a closer look at the menu I then realized there was more to it so I gave it a try. The appetizers... More

Loved EVERYTHING about this local family eatery EXCEPT the noise level--lotsa hard surfaces for the voices of a full house to bounce off of! But will definitely return on my next biz trip -- the wood-fired fish with roasted cauliflower & Brussels leaves was innovative, perfectly cooked, and just delish!

Nice wine list with a west coast menu. From the ahi salad to the skirt steak and relaxed atmosphere this restaurant could be nestled along highway 29 in the Napa valley. The wine list has California wineries well represented and is very affordable. The service is friendly and the food is well presented and good quality.

Enjoyed this eye-pleasing ambiance for a "single" dining experience after shopping. The wine selection (by the glass) is great and the server acknowledged that I'd made a good choice with the pinot grigio. I started with the (daily special) onion soup which is made with chicken stock instead of beef but is awesome and satisfying-served with gruyere cheese on the... More

The Tin Roof Bistro at Manhattan Beach provides a quintessential Los Angeles dining experience. All the servers, chefs and bartenders are very good looking young people. Their uniforms are carefully crafted to look completely casual, yet they complement the restaurant's decor and contribute to the atmosphere. Typically my office team eats here for lunch and every single time we've eaten... More

Tin Roof Bistro is right off Rosecrans Avenue in Manhattan Beach CA. The restaurant is part of a local reatuarant group - MB Post, Simmzy's, and Tin Roof Bistro. Judging by the wait to get into any of these places, they are all pretty good. We had a very nice dinner for 4 at $125 including wine and tip. The... More
