Dined while on business summer of 2011 (early june). Very good food and good customer service. Would definitely go back, if in the area.

Service was great--he didn't rush us. The food is healthy--and they give just the right amount. I had the chicken curry salad on papaya and a green salad with a vinegarette. So yummy. I will definitely go back.

Tucked in front of a two story strip shopping mall along PCH, Plate is under the radar, unless you are a local in the know. Loved the health aspect of the food. The sourcing of local health food, great imagination going on in that kitchen to make a simple lunch place into a healthy dining with great drinks, teas, health drinks and food. Loved it. Sober atmosphere with great service and great food. Great lunch joint

Fish dishes were tasty, with quality ingredients. For Malibu, reasonably priced. Dining room is pleasant, though starkly modern and seating is somewhat densely packed.

Really good brunch and lunch. Good ingredients, as advertised. Small and pretty, comfortable, nice staff. On the pricey side for what it is but we expected that-- in Malibu, so is everything else. A very pleasant experience.

As is Malibu standard, over-priced. But the food is terrific. Lots of interesting twists on old standards. Very healthy presentations---a definite stop on your visit to Malibu if you want to eat well.
