We went there for dinner and arrived early at around 4pm to have drinks first. They have a nice selection of cocktails. The sun terrace is absolutely nice but it got quite chilly once the sun set, so we moved inside. Waiters are very friendly and professional. Taste oysters, delicious. A glass of red wine was offered to us. Unfortunately... More

This is an amazing location on the beach with wonderful food, served by an attentive staff that will do everything possible to ensure the perfect experience! Our small group had very special requests...Jan and his staff made it happen. We had a group that ranged in age from six months to 60 years. We wanted to have a light dinner... More

We had a delicious meal on the terrace, fish tacos and desserts of peach cobbler and a cookie in a tiny cast iron skillet. Our server was very nice, and in fact when our dessert order was delayed due to a snafu in the kitchen, they gave us the desserts at no charge, which was unexpected and appreciated. In addition,... I booked this based on all the reviews. The view is great. Food was just OK, service wasn't at the level we expected. My wife didn't like her appetizer or entrée and waiter asked "how was everything?". She replied, "just OK, not what I expected". Waiter replied "Oh" and left without making anymore enquiries, it was like he didn't want... More

The food is consistently delicious from the tuna tartar through the delicious desserts. The special fish was perfectly prepared perched on a heirloom tomato; while the Black Linguini Squid rock shrimp, cauliflower, chili, garlic & white wine presented freshness from the sea with a zing of chili. Staff are polite and casually formal, regardless of guests origin (staying ay hotel,... More

My husband and I decided to have a nice dinner while in Malibu. After looking at the pictures and reading the reviews we reserved a table for 5:45. Let me tell you it was perfect timing. We were able to watch the sunset as we had our dinner. Outside seating was amazing and not cold at all since they have... More

Enjoyed a great meal with a beautiful view. Waves crashing on the rocks below only added to the experience. Highly recommend for a relaxing lunch if in the area. You will not be disapointed. Have visited twice and left both times feeling completely satisfied with all aspects of the service and food.

Probably the best view in Malibu with a very nice terrace. You can hear the waves from your table. We had the quesadilla and a couple of hamburgers. The food was excellent.

A firm favorite for lunch during the week or brunch at the weekend. Be sure to get a table on the small deck with the waves lapping below, it is way better than being inside. Food and service are excellent and the laid back atmosphere means you don't want to leave. It is so quiet and peaceful it is difficult... More

Delightful outdoor terrace in the Malibu Beach Inn jutting out over the sandy beach with view down the coast and across to Malibu Pier. A party of four we had Sunday brunch on a sunny December midday. Menu was simple and not particularly imaginative but our various egg dishes were freshly dished up in a skillet with sides of diced...
