Stopped at Kendall's before seeing End of the Rainbow. Surprisingly, there was a table available, so that was a lucky find. My friend and I had the moules frites and he a steak, We started with a bisque which was good but overpriced for a bowl and it was not served by the cup. The house Pinot Noir was tasty... More

Last week a colleague and I had lunch at Kendalls. I know the restaurant is run by the Patina Group, so I was really looking forward to a great lunch. Boy was I wrong. I had a Croque Monsieur, which was cold accompanied by French Fries, none of which were longer than a half inch. They must have served me... More

It is of course very convenienet to come early to dinner near trhe opera house, and then walk. It looks nice, the service is friendly, but my tastebuds did not like what I ordered. Too much grease, this is the big restaurant where volume seems to count more than taste, or maybe the grandfathers and grandmothers which make the bulk... More

Had a wonderful dinner before performance at the Taper theater. Waiters spot on with attention to detail. Thanks Sage. I had a chicken tagine which was delicious, my friend, short ribs which flew off his plate. Very nice vibe, busy but fun & would go back in a heartbeat.

In my many visits to the Center Theater Group theaters, I had never noticed Kendall's Brasserie. We tried it the other night before watching the amazing Tracie Bennet play Judy Garland in End of the rainbow. My companion, a male, and I were led to our table, walking past linen covered tables to a far corner, where our table was... More

We parked, walked right in to pick up our reservation at Kendalls, dined on scrumptious dinners and then walked the block to Disney Hall. It all made for a lovely evening

Wanted a restaurant close to the Ahmenson. This is located just at street level next to the Ahmenson so it fit the bill. Very nice restaurant, excellent service and personal care . We both enjoyed the Beef short rib with excellent spinich and garlic mashed potatoes. we started with Escorgote and salad and finished with a cheese flight. Great wine... More

My mom and her theater group always come here before they see a show at the Ahmanson, which is next door and part of the Dorothy Chandler-Mark Taper-Ahmanson Music Center complex in downtown L.A. Full of heavy wood and displays of wine bottles, this French restaurant comes complete with Francophone waiters and is stately (some might say a little stuffy)... More

This Patina branded restaurant has gone through several re-modelings over the years and it has improved each time. Food is excellent; service is impeccable. The menu is always fresh with a nice, but not huge, variety of dishes. It is an excellent place for seafood and has an oyster bar. Dishes are often unique, yet there is comfort food as... More

I have eaten here many times and am never ever disappointed. The food, the service, the ambiance and the location are perfection. It is perfect if you are attending an event at Disney as they can get your food in enough time for the performance. If you just get drinks at the bar the cocktails are excellent. Being here reminds... More
