4 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 June 2013 NEW

A year after my last visit, came to LA again and decided to go back for seconds. Pad Ka Prao was delicious, the portion was large and the service was efficient. The only problem - I've asked for it to be a bit spicy, not a lot. It made my nose run and my eyes water. But I've ended up... More

My 3rd day in LA and found this from an online review site. It's practically across from The Dixie Hotel. The positive reviews of this place was consistent....amazing food and family owned with excellent service. The famous Hoy Ka Noodle is now #18 on the menu and I ordered mine spicy and OMG....my whole entire mouth was still burning for... More

After reading the reviews and top ratings, I expected more. While the Pad Thai is very good all the other dishes were mediocre. The meatballs were awful, as if boiled from a frozen supply. The broth was bland. Only the dipping sauces were redeeming. Not recommended.

Only three dishes tasted but all three were great you cannot ask for something better just look around and see that locals are Also Thai descendants and they all seem to enjoy their food

We have been twice already in this place and both times have been great. Everything is so tasty, the broth (the one with duck), the eggrolls and the Pad Thai is what we ordered. The service is great and the owners are very nice and kind. The Neighborhood is attractive and safe. It's NOT a romantic place.

Almost passed this place up since the website didn't look so appealing and reading some Yelp reviews that the neighborhood can be sketchy. However, with such strong reviews and comments by others, sooo glad to have tried it! The food was definitely delicious. Had lunch on a weekend and luckily, we got a table without a wait. This was a good place. Always good to start with the tom yum kung and that was good. The egg roll were just OK. The pa krao was OK but interesting. The fried flat noodles was a good option. Love the service! Great local Thai place

the restaurant is not very large so don't arrive too late if you don't want to wait. the food is tasty, noodles were really good and the soup was delightful ! even if the restaurant was crowded we're quickly seated and served. The prices were great and the quantity was huge. I'd like to live in LA to be here... More
