The burrito wasn’t bad, the meat and guac tasted good. I wish my burrito kept its heat better, the ingredients kind of cooled it down.
The mixture of Korean & Mexican flavors is a change from everyday cuisine. We had the short rib tacos & a quesadilla, which were both very good. I will try something different next time just to see what other sorts of tastes they have.
Seriously - a Korean/Mexican food truck with outstanding food. Only in Southern California. During a recent trip to Long Beach, CA, the Kogi Taco Truck made a dinner visit to a conference I was a part of. About 45 of of us experienced an all you can eat feast. While we were presented with a limited menu (no calamari tacos... More
On a recent visit to So Cal we tracked down the famous Kogi Truck. After two rounds of ordering which included the Sliders, Short Rib tacos, Quesadillas, and the Kogi dog I have to say that while it was all good my vote for the best was the sliders no doubt (in fact I ordered them on both rounds). Yummy... More
I finally got a chance to eat off a Kogi truck in Orange County last week. I arrived expecting a long wait, but I was surprised to find that the line wasn't that long and service was quick and orderly. The short rib tacos and pacman burger I ordered were served promptly, so when I got 'em I was in... More
If you want to try some unique and delicious food, then this is your place. They have some of the best food I've ever tasted in my life. Their Korean Mexican food compares to no restaurant that I've ever been to. Think kimchi & tacos & quesadillas with wonderful sauces like mole. I wish that I lived in the LA... More
Just the right balance of tang and crunch as Korean BBQ married to Mexican Cuisine. I love the tacos and burritos. Just yummy sauces when kim chi and salsa mix together. At outdoor concerts and art events I have waited online for 45 minutes just to order and take extra home for breakfast. The lines are always orderly as everyone... More
Tried out the calamari taco and it was excellent! The sauce they used complemented the calamari making it delicious! You have also got to try the Blackjack Quesadilla! It's tastes jus great! No wonder it's a fan favorite! Also tried the tofu taco and it wasn't as good as the calamari taco but still good! The tofu burrito was jus... More
We had the kimchee quesidillas, bulgogi taco and barbeque chicken taco. Every one was lip smacking good! I would definitely return to try more of their offerings.
The LA streetfood scene is exploited, and saturated w/ gourmet and far reaching concepts. Although Kogi reinvented the street food scene in LA they are by no means the standard of good food. They are merely the vehicle that cast a spotlight on the underground world. In my 'hood we have an AMAZING truck (Gorditas Lupitas) but there are many... More
