We did not make reservations, but we were able to get a table in the bar. The atmosphere was nice. We enjoyed our dinner. But I must say my highlight was not ordering the desert which sounded amazing and I heard so much about. Instead we had a chocolate blackberry martini. It is now one of my favorite deserts.

The food is wonderful the staff is very attentive and there is nothing better than that and did I mention the desserts they are to die for!

We visit Roy's for happy hour when the traffic is too bad to leave La Jolla at 5pm...which happens frequently. My husband and I ate at Roy's last night. They have a prixe fixe menu for $36 that can't be beat! I chose the pork belly appetizer, the hanger steak, and the chocolate souffle. Unbelievably delicious! On Mondays, the prixe fixe menu is everything on their regular menu! Try the jalapeno margarita - yum! Roy's never fails to please!
