Mezza Luna is our favorite Italian. The service is excellent and friends. But it is the food that keeps drawing us back. They serve the best lamb chops and are a must try.
This place is the gem of the harbor restaurants at the Princeton Harbor ( Half Moon Bay). It's a fine dining atmosphere n Princeton harbor for less bucks the that over priced casual diner called the Fish Trap. That over priced joint should be called the tourist trap. As tourists wait in line for an hour for expensive, mediocre fish... More
A very welcoming and comfortable restaurant. Our party of four was seated by the window and we received excellent service. I chose the pork loin which was very tasty and filling. Would happily eat here again if in the area.
My husband and I were in Half Moon Bay over Memorial Day weekend this year. We were given a list of restaurants by the hotel and decided to give Mezza Luna a try. I was by myself for lunch & they sat me in a corner away from everyone else & they were not very busy. I was not expecting much but the salmon & pasta I ordered was delicious.
There are multiple dining area's, one better for an extended romantic dinner and another for fidgeting kids and blue jeans. Overall, a wonderful place. Pretty plates with reasonable portions. My wife has much better Bolognese sauce, but the restaurant was nice and the view of the... More
This restaurant was chosen by our tour leader as the last dining place on our birding holiday. It was a very good choice. Attentive staff and delicious, authentic Italian food.

But this is not on our list of frequented Coastside restaurants. And it isn't just because there are better restaurants on the Coastside. Our gripe with Mezzaluna is that it is not a real Italian...
